Michael Leptos launched Leptos Estates’ activities, post Cyprus independence, in 1961, setting off in Keryneia with land development and construction, creating innovative residential and holiday units. In the 13 years leading to Turkey’s invasion of 1974, the Group had successfully completed some major developments in Keryneia and was in the implementation process for a number of other properties, quite innovative for their time. But it all came to a standstill and these properties still remain under occupation. Post-invasion, the Group turned to the Middle East and the Gulf, where he implemented a number of innovative land development projects, with foremost amongst them, Saudia City, a new settlement of 4.000 residential units in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Michael Leptos returned to Cyprus in 1978 and made Paphos the headquarters of his companies.

George Michael Leptos was born in Nicosia in March 1963. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from King’s College, University of London, and an MBA from the American University in Washington D.C.

He is Co-President of the Leptos Group and plays an active executive role across its diverse sectors in Cyprus and Greece, including real estate, construction, tourism, education, healthcare, and strategic investments. He also oversees the management of major development projects both locally and abroad.

Mr. Leptos is Executive President of Pandora Investments Public Ltd and Vice President of Leptos Calypso Hotels Public Ltd, both listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. He serves as President of Neapolis University Pafos and IASIS Private Hospital.

He is a board member of the Cyprus and Paphos Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the Association of Large Development Projects, and a member of professional bodies including the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and the Cyprus Association of Architects and Civil Engineers. He previously served as President of the Paphos Chamber of Commerce and the Paphos Region Tourism Board, and as Vice President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2024, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Paphos.

Pantelis Michael Leptos was born in 1964, in Athens, Greece. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Middlesex Polytechnic and a Master of Science in International Finance, Trade, and Shipping from London’s City University Business School.

He is the Co-President of the Leptos Group of Companies, President of Leptos Calypso Hotels Ltd (Public), and Vice President of Pandora Investments Public Ltd. His previous roles include President of the Paphos Hotel Owners Association, Treasurer of the Cyprus Hotel Association, and President of both the Cyprus Developers Association and FIABCI Cyprus, where he now holds honorary titles.

Mr. Leptos has also served on the board of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency and is a registered member of the Cyprus Technical Chamber. He is the Honorary Consul of Jamaica in Cyprus and an active board member of several private companies in both Cyprus and Greece.

Widely travelled and internationally connected, Mr. Leptos brings a global outlook to all his ventures. His intuitive leadership and strong vision continue to shape and influence the fields of real estate, tourism, and investment.
